These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RaveCircuit.com and the websites, event calendar, articles, directories, newsletters, tools, content, and other services operated by Rave Circuit (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Informational and Editorial Service

Rave Circuit is an independent media, discovery, and event information platform.

Unless Rave Circuit expressly states otherwise in writing, Rave Circuit is not the organizer, producer, promoter, venue, ticket seller, ticket broker, box office, artist manager, performer, security provider, transportation provider, accommodation provider, or operator of events appearing on the Services.

Event listings and editorial content are provided for general informational and discovery purposes.

2. Event Information May Change

Event information may be obtained from organizers, promoters, venues, artists, ticketing services, public sources, social media, submissions, press materials, or other sources.

Dates, times, locations, age restrictions, accessibility information, lineups, performers, schedules, ticket prices, fees, availability, entry requirements, policies, and other details may change at any time.

Rave Circuit does not guarantee that event information is complete, current, accurate, or error-free.

Before traveling, purchasing tickets, making reservations, or relying on an event listing, you should confirm material details directly with the official organizer, venue, or authorized ticketing provider.

3. Third-Party Tickets, Sales, Refunds, and Transactions

Rave Circuit may provide links to third-party ticketing websites, event organizers, venues, sponsors, merchants, travel providers, or other services.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Rave Circuit is not a party to transactions you enter into with those third parties.

Rave Circuit does not control and is not responsible for:

  • Ticket sales or fulfillment
  • Ticket validity
  • Ticket transfer rules
  • Pricing or fees
  • Refunds
  • Exchanges
  • Rescheduling
  • Rebooking
  • Event postponements
  • Event cancellations
  • Venue admission
  • Age verification
  • Entry requirements
  • Lineup changes
  • Artist cancellations
  • Transportation
  • Lodging
  • Lost property
  • Event security
  • Medical services
  • Accessibility accommodations
  • Purchases from event vendors
  • Any other third-party product, service, decision, or transaction

Questions regarding a ticket, refund, cancellation, rebooking, or admission decision must be directed to the party that sold the ticket or operates the event.

4. No Endorsement by Listing

The appearance of an event, artist, promoter, venue, business, organization, product, or service on Rave Circuit does not by itself mean Rave Circuit sponsors, endorses, recommends, verifies, approves, or is affiliated with that person or entity.

Paid and sponsored relationships will be identified in accordance with our Advertising and Sponsorship Policy.

5. Eligibility

You may use the Services only if you can legally enter into these Terms and your use is permitted by applicable law.

The Services are not directed to children under 13.

Some events listed on Rave Circuit may be limited to people of a certain age. Rave Circuit does not determine or enforce event admission requirements.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the Services
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
  • Introduce malware, malicious code, or harmful technology
  • Scrape, crawl, harvest, or extract data in a manner that imposes an unreasonable burden on the Services or violates applicable law
  • Circumvent access controls or technical restrictions
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
  • Impersonate another person or organization
  • Use the Services to defraud, harass, threaten, or harm others
  • Submit material you do not have the right to submit
  • Infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights
  • Use Rave Circuit branding in a way that falsely suggests sponsorship, approval, or affiliation
  • Reproduce or commercially exploit substantial portions of the Services except as permitted by law or written authorization

7. Intellectual Property

The Services and their original design, branding, text, graphics, logos, compilation, arrangement, software, and original content are owned by Rave Circuit or used under license and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Third-party names, trademarks, logos, event artwork, artist images, venue information, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.

8. Limited Permission to Use the Services

Subject to these Terms, Rave Circuit grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Services for lawful personal or internal informational purposes.

This permission does not include a right to reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, create a competing database from, or commercially exploit the Services without written permission.

9. User Submissions and Event Submissions

If you submit event information, corrections, images, text, links, or other material to Rave Circuit, you represent that:

  • The information is accurate to the best of your knowledge
  • You have the right to submit the material
  • The submission does not unlawfully infringe another person's rights
  • The submission is not deceptive, malicious, or unlawful

You grant Rave Circuit a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, edit, format, publish, display, and distribute the submission as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, and improve the Services.

Rave Circuit may accept, reject, edit, remove, or decline to publish submissions at its discretion.

10. Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are made by Rave Circuit.

Sponsors, advertisers, affiliate partners, promoters, venues, artists, and other commercial partners do not receive a right to control independent editorial coverage merely because they advertise with or sponsor Rave Circuit.

Some content may be sponsored, paid for, or contain affiliate links.

When appropriate, Rave Circuit will identify material commercial relationships through labels or disclosures.

12. Third-Party Content and Links

The Services may contain links to external websites and may display or reference third-party content.

Rave Circuit does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, security, content, policies, products, services, or conduct.

A link does not necessarily imply endorsement.

13. Harm Reduction and Safety Information

Rave Circuit may publish or link to general safety and harm-reduction information.

Rave Circuit does not promote or condone illegal drug use and does not provide instructions for obtaining or using illegal drugs.

Information provided by independent harm-reduction organizations is controlled by those organizations.

14. No Professional Advice

Content on the Services is provided for general informational purposes and is not legal, medical, financial, emergency, security, or other professional advice.

You are responsible for obtaining appropriate professional advice for your circumstances.

15. No Warranty

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."

RAVE CIRCUIT DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, AND RELIABILITY.

RAVE CIRCUIT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

16. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RAVE CIRCUIT AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, CONTRIBUTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OPPORTUNITY, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RAVE CIRCUIT IS NOT LIABLE FOR LOSSES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THIRD-PARTY EVENTS, EVENT CANCELLATIONS, POSTPONEMENTS, LINEUP CHANGES, TICKET TRANSACTIONS, REFUNDS, VENUE DECISIONS, THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES, TRAVEL, LODGING, PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY LOSS, OR THIRD-PARTY CONDUCT.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rave Circuit and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, contributors, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or material you submit in violation of another person's rights.

19. Changes to the Services

Rave Circuit may modify, suspend, remove, or discontinue any portion of the Services at any time.

We may also update these Terms. Your continued use after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Subject to applicable law, disputes arising from these Terms or the Services will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

21. Severability

If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

22. No Waiver

A failure by Rave Circuit to enforce a provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that provision or any other right.
