How to reach us, and the fastest route for each kind of message
Last updated
Rave Circuit is run by a small team. We read everything that arrives, and we answer faster when a message reaches the right place, so the sections below name the quickest route for each kind of request.
For anything not covered here, email contact@ravecircuit.com.
1. Something wrong with an event
Do not email this if you can avoid it. Every event page has a Something wrong? control at the foot of the page, next to the date we last checked the listing, and it is the fastest way to get a listing fixed.
It takes a few seconds, needs no account, and it reaches us with the event already attached, which means we can act on it without asking you which party you meant. Cancellations and venue changes are sorted to the top of the queue ahead of everything else.
Use it to report:
- A wrong date, time or venue
- A cancelled or postponed event
- A lineup that has changed
- A ticket link that no longer works
- A price or age restriction that is out of date
- An event listed in the wrong category
We do not edit an event automatically on a report, no matter how many arrive. Every correction is reviewed by a person against the source. See our Corrections Policy for how that works.
2. Submitting an event
Use the event submission form rather than email.
We review submissions before they go live, so a listing will not appear immediately. If we decline one, we say why.
3. Promoters, venues and advertising
If you run events and want to work with us, whether that is claiming your listings, sharing a venue calendar, or a paid placement, start at Promote your event with us.
For anything commercial, email contact@ravecircuit.com with the word
Promote in the subject line.
Two things worth stating up front, because they save everyone time:
- Editorial picks in the Highlighted section are not for sale at any price.
- Paid placement never changes the order of the organic calendar, and every paid card is labelled.
4. Press and media
Email contact@ravecircuit.com with Press in the subject line.
Please include your outlet and your deadline. We would rather tell you we cannot make a deadline than miss it silently.
5. Copyright, DMCA and legal notices
Copyright complaints and takedown notices have their own procedure and their own required contents. Follow the process in our Copyright and DMCA Policy rather than sending an informal email, or we may not be able to act on it.
Other legal correspondence can go to contact@ravecircuit.com or to the mailing address below.
6. Privacy requests
Requests about your personal information, including access, deletion and opt-outs, are handled under our Privacy Policy. If you are a California resident, see the California Privacy Notice for the specific rights available to you and how to exercise them.
Email contact@ravecircuit.com with Privacy in the subject line.
7. What we cannot help with
We are not the event organizer or the ticket seller unless a page says so explicitly. That means we cannot:
- Sell you a ticket, or change one you have already bought
- Issue a refund
- Get you on a guest list
- Change an event's door time, lineup or venue
- Resolve a dispute with a promoter or a venue
For any of those, contact the organizer or the ticketing provider named on the event page. Our Event Calendar and Third-Party Events Disclaimer explains where our responsibility ends and theirs begins.
8. Harm reduction and safety
We do not give medical advice and we cannot respond to emergencies.
For a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services.
For safety and harm-reduction information, our Harm Reduction page links to independent organizations that publish it. Those organizations are not affiliated with Rave Circuit.
9. Response times
We aim to reply to email within a few business days. Reports submitted through the Something wrong? control at the foot of an event page move faster than email, because they arrive already attached to the listing.
Cancellations and venue changes are treated as urgent and jump the queue.
